Bird Walk & Migration Talk @ Rattlesnake Lodge, Asheville

Wednesday, May 8, 2024. 8:00am - 1:00pm

Join naturalist extraordinaire Luke Cannon, founder of Astounding Earth, to learn about the science, magic, and mystery of bird migration while exploring one of Buncombe County’s birding hotspots along the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you’re extremely lucky you might even hear or see a Cerulean Warbler - a local rarity whose populations are under threat due to habitat loss.

THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please fill out this form to register.

Due to parking limitations at the site, registered participants will be encouraged to carpool from the Earth Fare parking lot in Asheville.

This event is free but suggested donation of $10 - $25 per person is encouraged. All donations go directly to Luke.
