Birding, Sunset & Stargazing @ Waterrock Knob

Join Tuck Birders and guest teacher Kaleb Wallace for an evening of birding, sunset, and stargazing at one of the most beautiful spots on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Join naturalist extraordinaire Luke Cannon, founder of Astounding Earth, to learn about the science, magic, and mystery of bird migration while exploring one of Buncombe County’s birding hotspots along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
THIS EVENT IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This event is free but suggested donation of $10 - $25 per person is encouraged.
Birding @ Little Tennessee Greenway, Franklin
Join the Franklin Bird Club for a bird walk along the Little Tennessee River Greenway near downtown Franklin. These walks are led by experienced birders and are open to anyone regardless of experience. Meet at Macon County Library at 8am.

Join Birders of the Tuckaseegee Watershed for a Thursday morning bird walk at beautiful Kituwah Farms near Bryson City. This ancestral Cherokee town site is a very special place and one of the best birding hotspots around.
This event is FREE and open to all. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Birding @ Jackson County Marsh, Sylva
Join Birders of the Tuckaseegee Watershed at the Jackson County Marsh for a morning of birdwatching at this beautiful birding hotspot just outside of Sylva, NC.
This event is FREE and open to all. Loaner binoculars are available for beginners.

Join the Feminist Bird Club of Asheville and Birders of the Tuckaseegee Watershed as we combine forces to explore this beautiful high elevation bald and forest off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is great Chestnut-sided Warbler habitat and is a popular birding hotspot with amazing views.
