Birding, Sunset & Stargazing @ Waterrock Knob, Blue Ridge Parkway

Join Tuck Birders and guest teacher Kaleb Wallace us for an evening of birding, sunset watching and stargazing at one of the most beautiful spots on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We will meet at 7pm in the Waterrock Knob Visitors Center parking lot (turn off near mile 451 of BRP) for an guided birding wander. Then stick around to watch the sunset followed by a fascinating tour of the night sky led by Kaleb Wallace.
Binoculars and scopes will be available to borrow. Bring your own chairs, picnic blanket, food, drinks, and warm layers.
No registration is required. All are welcome!
This event will take place around the paved sidewalks of the Visitor Center parking lot. There are bathrooms available.
This event is free but suggested donation of $5 - $25 per person is encouraged. All donations go directly to our guest teacher Kaleb Wallace.
